Who

SkinDiff is made (with love) for all skins enjoyers, by Jib and friends. If you have any inquiries, you can reach me through the SkinDiff Discord server or directly at jibrilsyart@gmail.com.

Usage statistics

Usage statistics are collected on every visit, and are anonymous in compliance with GDPR. They help us see how many people use our website, what features are most useful to them, and where they come from:

• A random visitor id, kept in your browser (localStorage) for at most 13 months.
• A session id for the current tab.
• The page path and the referring site's domain.
• Device type: phone or desktop.
• A rough location: your country and city.

Your IP address is never stored, and we're in compliance with privacy in the EU. You can opt out or opt in at any point with the "Analytics" switch in the header Settings menu.

Your browser also keeps your theme and sound preferences and a one-time "splash seen" cookie, which are functional only.

Discord bot usage

When you submit a /skindiff command, we record its type, time, team size, chosen champion filters, result status and server processing time. We also keep your Discord user id, username and display name in a private bot-user directory so the administrator can identify regular users and investigate abusive usage. User identities and command history are admin-only. These records do not contain message text, server ids or interaction tokens. Autocomplete typing is not recorded as bot usage. The website Analytics switch controls website visits, separately from these bot service statistics.

Discord sign-in

Signing in with Discord adds the following to what is stored:

• Your Discord user id, username, display name and avatar.
• The email address Discord sends with the login, which is held by Supabase, the sign-in provider, and never used or shown by SkinDiff.
• Your collection: skin ids, collection name, title and icon.
• Your saved friends.
• Feedback you send, with the page it was sent from and your account if you were signed in, which is also copied to a private channel on the SkinDiff Discord server.

What is public

Collection pages are public, so anyone with the link, or who looks up your Discord username, can see the collection name, title, icon and skins along with your Discord username and avatar, and the Duo and 5 Stack results built from them are public too.

Hosting

• Supabase: database and sign-in.
• Vercel: hosting. Its edge network provides the rough location.
• Discord: sign-in and the bot.
• CommunityDragon and Riot's Data Dragon: skin art, fetched by the SkinDiff server rather than by your browser.

Consent and account deletion

• Website analytics can be turned off at any time with the "Analytics" switch.
• "Delete collection" and "Delete account" are on your profile page. Deleting the account removes the Discord sign-in and everything tied to it.
• A copy or a correction of your data can be requested through the contact above.

In the EU, EEA and UK you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can complain to your data protection authority.

Age

SkinDiff is for people aged 13 or over, which is also Discord's minimum, so data is not knowingly collected from younger children, and you can contact us to have any removed.

Riot Games

SkinDiff is not endorsed by Riot Games, and is made under Riot's Legal Jibber Jabber policy.
